After watching shows like Lost, the Colony and Burn Notice Adam and I decided that learning CPR would be a great skill to have. We work with people for a living and you never know when an emergency situation might happen.
Last week we gathered our interns and coaches and had an instructor from the American Heart Association come to our house and teach us CPR! We learned basic First Aid to go with it as well as how to use a defibrillator. It was a cool class to take and I am so glad we did! We are Infant CPR Certified as well which is something I also wanted to do.
This is a skill I hope we never have to use, but it's always better to be safe than sorry. It was only $35 a person and this is something I think everyone should do. Contact the AHA in your area, learn this skill and get certified! You might just save a life some day.
